A three doctors and a paramedic team left from Islamabad to Nigeria on July 22, 2011. The team is headed by Dr Lal Muhammad Member POB (Prevention of Blindness) Trust.

They participated in a 5 days free eye camp started from25^th July to 29^th July 2011. The other doctors include Dr. Javaid Bashir, Dr. Abid Butt and Dr. Lal Muhammad. This camp is being arranged in coordination with FIMA (Federation of International Medical Association). OPD’s and IOL implantation surgeries are 5025 and 470 respectively.

Katsina State is a state in northern Nigeria. Its capital is Katsina, a member of the People's Democratic Party. In 1987, Katsina State was formed from part of Kaduna State. The state is mostly Muslim.

The State is bounded in the East by Kano State, in the West by Sokoto State, in the South by Kaduna State and in the North by the Niger Republic.
